Junior Crew

Anirudh Gupta
Writer
The hair on his head is thinning before time but he still manages to look as fresh as a daisy bathed in dew; unless he has been up all night trying to finish a game. An avid gamer, he has played almost every famous franchise ever produced, the Assassin’s Creed being his favorite. Although he carries himself with a certain quiet demeanor, he can be quite loud if he feels comfortable in your presence. His music library is almost exclusive to the great trance artist, Armin van Buuren. He also listens to Ellie Goulding, Tiësto and Hardwell during the day but prefers Arijit Singh, Shreya Goshal and Mohit Chauhan at night. He loves reading PG Wodehouse, JRR Tolkien and Devdutt Pattanaik.  If you ever need to find him, you can see him quite often at Marena, playing an evening game of tennis.
Reetobaan Datta
Writer
Chances are you’ve already heard this passionate Bengali vocally profess the lack of logic in having gender in a language or arguing about something as inconsequential as a bottle-cap in some corner of Manipal. Juggling the roles of a writer and a photographer, Reetobaan loves the stage. People in his batch are well aware that getting any sort of food or beverage in front of him is equivalent to saying farewell to at least half the portion of that food. You can engage this Beatles fanatic in all sorts of conversations except those involving academics (he’ll run away, we swear).Musically, he is aware of how to strum a sitar. His wanderlust is matched in intensity only by his love for his Canon and his city.
Rohan Basak
Writer
He loves to capture the various moments of life through his words. Apart from virtual gaming, he takes keen interest in music, books and animals. He is an avid movie buff who does his best to watch every movie he can on the day of its release. He is a well-rounded personality with the right mixture of hard work and play. Meeting deadlines is his forte. Being a foodie, he likes to roam around and explore new places to eat.
Rohil Jain
Writer
If you’ve ever seen a guy waltz around with an impressively large (read classy) pair of headphones, there’s a high chance that you’ve spotted Rohil. A bit of an oddball (virtually all the songs on his playlist are unheard of) and ambiverted (icy fire and a ton of other oxymorons here), he’d fit just fine in the socially awkward awesome penguin meme. He’s a part time dreamer by the day with a chock-a- block bucket list. Get his peripheral smear done and you’ll find MTTN, milk and oreos, lots of music, Chelsea FC, Harvey Specter, Petr Cech and Benedict Cumberbatch fandom, horribly orchestrated biology puns (that he claims are good) and a few insignificantly jobless knick knack cells, all running in the plasma of his thoughts which he loves to document as writings. And yes, no one (including him) knows what Rohil means (one can reckon Row+Hill or “crying and moving” for a start!)
Shrabasti Dey
Writer
Shrabasti is a voracious reader and will read every novel she can lay her hands on. With a keen interest in various dance forms since childhood, she trained in Odissi in addition to two styles of Bharatnatyam. Though a thorough couch potato she simultaneously boasts a black belt in Taekwon-Do. Her idea of the perfect day involves a good novel, great food, not having to get out of bed and no people to deal with.
Soham Mitra
Writer
Better known as “The Living Encyclopedia”. For good reason, too – that being his extensive knowledge of history, literature and science. Besides a commercial artist and script-writer, he also is a big-time gastronomic. Though usually quiet, he likes to express himself through writing and literature.
Vivek Mahapatra
Writer
Cinephile, Bibliophile, and waiting-to- find-out- if-he- is-a Time-Lord, Vivek is a quirky guy who’s always up for a good conversation. An ardent gamer with the dubious disitinction of having played games ranging from ET all the way to to Witcher 3, he buries his nose in decent RPG’s wherever they may be found. May be found adjacent to the internet’s fandom force trying to be wise enough with writing for you. Likes skip codes.
Sindhuri Sriraman
Writer
Sindhuri is an eccentric creature and the perfect definition of what is called an introvert. Apart from being a Bharatanatyam dancer, she also possesses an excellent ability to make even teachers awkward by dozing off right in front of them on the first row. Although this Tamilian loves to call herself a Delhiite, she just can’t stand a remark against South Indians, and teaching geography to people who call all South Indians as Madrasis tops her list of hobbies. Her other favorite pastimes include painting, making complex origami models, and cooking.

Anjali
PR Officer
Amicable and energetic, Anjali is an outgoing person who loves interacting with people. She makes friends as fast as a musician scatters sound out of an instrument. A chocoholic, nature-lover, an optimist, and a dreamer. Food and travel are a few of her major interests. She loves to read books or watch stand-up comedy in her free time. Her favorite comedians include Russell Peters, Biswa Kalyan Rath, and Kenny Sebastian.
Shaista Salam
PR Officer
From afar, one might consider her indifferent. Little does one realize the whorl wind of thoughts racing through her mind. Shaista expresses great love for literature and poetry; her favourite poets being Kahlil Gibran and John Keats. She is also a stickler for any kind of sport. Watching HIMYM, surfing for ideas on Pinterest and reading novels top her list of favourite pastimes. Quite the carefree bird, she loves meeting new people and believes in living life to the fullest.
Khushi Shukla
PR Officer
With eccentric opinions and weird tastes in almost about everything, Khushi is as bizarre as one can get. She has a way of tunneling her way to your heart soon after you get to know her. As sweet as the brownies she supposedly can bake and still as annoying as the Big Bang Theory character she loves, she’s lovable even when she’s mean and just the best as a general rule. She’s what they call a “yaaro ka yaar” – a friend who will go out of her way to help others.
Parul Mehrotra
PR Officer
She epitomizes the tagline of “Happy to Help” most justifiably! Although reserved and quiet on the outside, once you’re friends with her you realize that she’s the complete opposite, a total people’s person! A dog lover, ”F.R.I.E.N.D.S” addict and an avid reader (suspense thrillers and mystery being her favourite genre), she’s someone you’ll always love to talk to no matter what time it is. Buoyant, effective, pragmatic, headstrong and ever joyful…that’s Parul for you!
Anmol Dixit
PR Officer
“The precious one” – Anmol is no less than what her name suggests. She is a caffeine dependent professional procrastinator. A total foodie and a die-hard fan of Game of Thrones, she spreads smiles like herpes. Treating communication as entertainment, she truly finds ‘-elation-’ in Public Relations.
Divya Nayar
PR Officer
Subtract ‘The 1’ from 7.125 billion people and you’ll come across Divya. A perfectionist by nature, she wants to walk someday in the shoes of Jung and Freud. A self-confessed bibliophile, closet romantic, eternal optimist and chocoholic, she also loves Sherlock and GOT and perhaps knows the constellations better than poets do. Always willing to lend an ear (and also talk yours off in the process), she’ll be the partner in crime in all your farfetched late night shenanigans. Sum everything up and you’ll find an astute, free spirit chasing and emanating sunshine and optimism!
Dhitika Handa
PR Officer
Pink and glitter: these two words define Dhitika. This PJ Queen can make jokes on literally anything anytime and anywhere. Fun, spontaneous and energetic, this girl from Chandigarh brightens your day with her amazing sense of humour and a laughter that is infectious. A die-hard SRK fan, she has almost all his dialogues memorized, and dreams to meet him and his wife someday. Listening to music, dancing and sketching are her hobbies- oh, and not to forget shopping. Though a little moody, one only makes it to her hate list if they are pathetically slow, utterly miserly or if they torture animals. By creating awareness about gluten intolerance in India, she desires to ease the lives of people suffering from the allergy.
Pallabi Roy
PR Officer
One of the friendliest souls in MTTN, Pallabi takes her public relations very seriously. She is part of various organisations such as VSO and SRF, and can be relied upon to know almost everyone worth knowing. Her speaking skills and confidence instilling nature are highly admirable. Pallabi is also very well read and is often found reading ebooks between classes. Despite being a tiny person, the sight of food turns her into a monster with a special fondness for chicken. She's definitely one of the most dedicated and well loved PR members of MTTN.

Evit John
Photographer
Imaginations of an image - you think of a frame and the camera captures it. Well, albeit it didn’t start off as one, photography soon became a passion for Evit, who works in clinics as an intern and when time permits, goes places one would seldom go to get the picture they can only imagine. With the vivid imaginations of an artist, he can make you browse through images and wonder. He joined MTTN owing to his passion to learn photography, covering events in KMC and MIT. When he isn’t making people smile with his camera, he is perfecting peoples’ smiles.
Shriya Dhaundiyal
Photographer
Simple. Crazy. Not simply crazy but simple and crazy - these two words describe Shriya the best. She is a fun loving person with a wild imagination who really knows how to live. She has done the wackiest of things, notwithstanding her oh-so- simple personality (that, making her a real charmer). While she detests complicating matters, she spends her time reading fiction and listening to music. Though active socially, her best moments have been while alone. Shriya relishes learning new things and is hot on the path to discovering what she really wants - and photography lets her capture this journey.
Srinath Balakrishnan
Photographer
Srinath is a man of about five words until forced to reveal his stately wisdom, partly the result of a diagnosed addiction to Dan Brown, Steve Jobs and an annoyingly superior knowledge of current affairs. It is preferable not to get into an argument with him as there is always the fear that one would get severely cut by his sarcasm and wit. However, if one survives this, one would find that Srinath is a spectacular companion to have during both fun and forlorn times. If undisturbed, he can be found in his natural habitat: taking photos that he is overly modest about, and watching critically acclaimed television shows that no one has heard of.
Nupur Jain
Photographer
She’s bubbly. She’s a foodie. She loves coffee. And food. Indoors, Grey’s Anatomy, GOT and BBT consume her time and soul. Oh and needless to say, food. “Been there, done that” being the way-out- of-her- league dictum, Nupur relentlessly hunts for new things to do. A staunch explorer, Nupur stops at nothing to go exploring every new place there is to explore. She sweats it out too, with adventure sports. While she’s at it, she loses no opportunity to immortalise-on- the- film, images that ensnare her attention. Yet, she’s lazy (it’s a talent). Seriously lazy. All said and done, curling up in bed is what she loves the most. Also, did I mention food? She likes food.
Raghav Chawla
Photographer
His amicable nature and crappy jokes make him an amazing guy to hang out with, even when you’re feeling under a bit of a cloud. What makes him a fantabulous photographer is his amazing eye for intricacies and depth in the simplest of things. If you ever see him holding his head in his hands and murmuring that he does not possess a DSLR, look up at the sky, you are likely to see an amazing array of clouds and myriad shades of sunlight. His dream is to go zipping down an American freeway on his Ducati, after a tough day of orthopedic surgery. Right now, he is content with his trusty Pulsar and an evening game of football. He is a bass enthusiast, or a basshead, listening to enormous amounts of rap music and occasionally some Punjabi music, for that much needed desi tadka.
Armaan Ahuja
Photographer
At the first sight he might seem like a regular teen, but soon one realizes that is far from the truth. With a camera in one hand and lightsaber in the other, Armaan is quite a handful. He has known how to hold a camera before he held a pen and he knows, no pen is mightier than a lightsaber.
